Educate Maine, MMSA Partner on Impactful C/S Learning Project

Educate Maine is pleased to partner with the Maine Math and Science Alliance on a program to make computer science education more accessible in Maine. Program Supporting Maine’s Teachers Gets Boost from Federal Funds

PORTLAND, Maine--New federal dollars championed by Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, will support the Teach Maine Center in growing, strengthening and diversifying Maine’s education workforce. BIOLAB Lands in Fort Kent

We are open for learning! The Maine Mobile BIOLAB touched down at Fort Kent Elementary in Aroostook County on Mon., March 11--its first stop in a tour of 12 schools this semester. Maine Senate President Troy Jackson and Fern Desjardins, Chair of the State Board of Education, joined the Educate Maine team in a ribbon cutting ceremony on a snowy day. The lab will be in Fort Kent-at the northern terminus of U.S. Route 1--for four days, offering hands-on STEM learning for middle grade students.  READ MORE

Maine Educational Biolab is Launched

A sleek, custom-made laboratory on wheels—brimming with supplies and lesson plans and staffed by two experienced educators--will  bring life-science learning to middle school students around Maine.
