The Workforce Development Specialist is responsible for coordinating strategies, partnerships, and programs that create, expand, and strengthen opportunities for apprenticeship in companies throughout Hancock, Waldo, and Penobscot Counties. This position will create and oversee a portfolio of apprenticeship programs, coordinating programmatic activities with industry partners. The Specialist will also assist the Program Director in designing and realizing broader strategic goals, such as incubating pilot programs and strengthening connections with industry partners.

FAB is a group of Maine high schoolers (9th-12th grade) from around the state who are passionate about gender equity and social justice. Members plan and execute the Girls Rock! Conferences, do community outreach and education, maintain a social media presence, and work closely with the Board of Directors and staff to make sure that all Hardy Girls programs remain relevant.
